We started off as just an idea. A group of friends who loved to skydive and just wanted a place to hang out and talk. Today, we launch the Texas Anvil Community where we kick it up a notch, control spammers, and give us a place to gather.  The Anvil Brothers are the "largest" group of skydivers in the world. Started in 1999 by Gary Lanham and Keith "Bigun" Laub, the idea was to break the ice that started to form between the different disciplines of the sport and to instead bring everyone together. We are the Texas Chapter of the Anvil Brothers. Our mission is to promote Safety, Unity, and Fun in the sport of Skydiving. It is the responsibility of everyone to look out for the safety of themselves and others. It is also a goal of the AB to discard the "clique" attitudes that are so destructive to the mood of DZs everywhere. Finally, we are here to promote the sport in a fun and safe light so it may continue for many years to come. Check the NEWS and FORUMS pages for the latest info on whats going on in our world
